The shut-off valve PCV-03/0560 is a key component used in the steam turbine system of power plants. Its function is to cut off the production process in emergency situations during production, close the inlet and outlet of volumetric equipment, and prevent rapid changes in production parameters. This shut-off valve is mainly used for large cylinders of steam turbines to help accelerate the valve's shut-off speed by releasing a large amount of gas.
Working principle of the shut-off valve PCV-03/0560:
When an emergency shutdown or malfunction is required, the PCV-03/0560 shut-off valve can quickly close the outlet and inlet of the volumetric equipment in the steam turbine system to prevent further damage or accidents. It reduces system pressure by releasing a large amount of gas, reduces the energy of fluid flow, and achieves rapid shutdown operation.
This shut-off valve is usually used in conjunction with a two position two way valve to extend the venting time by venting gas through small holes, thereby better achieving the shut-off function of the valve.
