The WSS-471 bimetallic thermometer uses bimetallic sheets as temperature sensing elements, which have high sensitivity, low hysteresis, and good linear response characteristics. One end of the bimetallic sheet wound into a spiral tube is fixed, and the other free end is connected to the pointer needle, which rotates with temperature changes and drives the pointer to rotate to indicate temperature.
