In the steam driven feedwater pump steam turbine, the explosion-proof diaphragm is used to control and regulate the working parameters of the turbine, such as steam flow and pressure, to ensure the normal operation of the feedwater pump and the safe operation of the turbine.

The explosion-proof diaphragm G16-1 is made of metal material and has certain strength and toughness. They are designed to remain closed under certain pressure and quickly open to release overpressure when the pressure exceeds a predetermined threshold. The explosion-proof diaphragm is connected to the casing of the steam turbine through bolts or other connection methods, ensuring reliable opening and closing during diaphragm action.

Function:
Safety protection: When the internal pressure of the turbine is too high, the explosion-proof diaphragm can quickly open, releasing excess steam and avoiding damage to the internal structure of the turbine.
Flow control: In some designs, explosion-proof diaphragms can also be used to control the steam flow at the inlet or outlet of the turbine, in order to optimize the efficiency of the turbine.
Fault diagnosis: The action of the explosion-proof diaphragm can also serve as an indicator of the operating status of the steam turbine, helping operators diagnose possible faults.
