The 072-559A servo valve is a high-performance and highly sensitive flow control servo valve suitable for pressure or force control systems, speed and electro-hydraulic position control. It plays a crucial role in the control system of steam turbines in power plants, achieving precise control of components such as high-pressure control valves and main steam valves. It is produced by MOOG Company in the United States and is widely used in high-pressure control valves of steam turbine DEH systems, as well as high-pressure control valves of power plant main engines and intermediate pressure control valves of main steam valves.
The 072-559A servo valve adopts a high-performance two-stage design, which can cover the pressure drop range of each valve with a valve core pressure of 35 bar (500 psi), and the flow range is between 95 and 225 l/min (25-60 gpm). It has the characteristics of high sensitivity and fast response, which can convert small electrical signals (such as 10 milliamperes) into large hydraulic power, thereby driving various types of loads.
Structure:
The servo valve consists of a polarized electric torque motor and a two-stage hydraulic power amplifier, with the motor's armature extending to the air gap of the magnetic flux circuit and supported by flexible pipes. Hoses are used as electromagnetic and hydraulic seals for valves. The design and performance of the 072-559A servo valve play an important role in the control system of power plant steam turbines, ensuring stable operation and precise control of the system.
