The shut-off valve SR6MMV commonly used on the fire resistant oil device of steam turbines is a shut-off solenoid valve. A shut-off solenoid valve is a valve that can be closed or opened by electromagnetic force to control the flow of the fuel supply system.

Function:
The main function of the shut-off solenoid valve SR6MMV in the fire resistant oil device of the steam turbine is to quickly cut off the fuel supply to achieve functions such as emergency shutdown protection and overload protection. When the system detects the need for shutdown or protection, the control system will send a signal to the shut-off solenoid valve to close, thereby cutting off fuel flow and ensuring safe shutdown or protection of the turbine.

The shut-off solenoid valve SR6MMV consists of an electromagnetic coil and a valve. When the electromagnetic coil is energized, a magnetic field is generated, which attracts or releases the valve core on the valve. By controlling the on-off of the electromagnetic coil, the position of the valve core can be controlled to open or close the valve.
