The bimetallic thermometer WSS-581W is a field detection instrument suitable for measuring medium and low temperatures. It can directly measure the temperature of liquid, steam and gaseous media in the range of -80ºC~+500ºC in various production processes. It uses a bimetallic strip as a temperature measuring element and works on the principle that two different metals expand to different degrees when the temperature changes. When the temperature changes, the bimetallic strip expands or contracts to different degrees due to the difference in thermal expansion coefficients, causing the bimetallic strip to bend and deform. This deformation is transmitted to the pointer through the transmission mechanism, causing the pointer to move on the dial, thereby displaying the corresponding temperature value. |
