Butterfly valve BDB-150/80 is a plate type butterfly valve designed specifically for transformers, used to control the opening and closing of internal oil circuits in oil immersed transformers. Installed at the flange connections between oil immersed transformers and coolers, radiators, oil storage tanks, and oil pipelines. The valve is a plate structure with the characteristics of simple structure and convenient use. It adopts a new fully sealed inclined contact and precision machining process to ensure good sealing performance and reliability.

The material of the BDB-150/80 butterfly valve body can be Q235 steel plate or stainless steel, to avoid leakage problems that may arise from using cast iron manufacturing. The mating surface of the valve body and valve plate is equipped with a ""I"" shaped sealing ring with a cross-section to ensure safety and reliability. In addition, the butterfly valve is also equipped with special shaped bolts, further enhancing the reliability of the connection.

The working principle of butterfly valve BDB-150/80: When the transformer is working normally, the butterfly valve BDB-150/80 remains open to ensure smooth oil circuit of the transformer. When the transformer malfunctions or requires maintenance, the butterfly valve is closed, cutting off the oil circuit of the transformer. It can be manually operated or automatically controlled through electric or pneumatic actuators.
