The HZB253-640 pre-pump is a type of HZB series pre-pump, which is particularly suitable for 1000MW units. It can be matched with a 30% capacity electric feed water pump combination or a 50% capacity electric and steam-driven feed water pump group for 600MW units. The pump adopts a single-stage double-suction impeller, with the inlet and outlet directions facing vertically upward, and is installed on a rigid structural pump seat made of welded steel. End covers are provided on both sides of the pump casing, and a radially separated volute design is adopted.
