Audited Supplier The AST solenoid valve 0508.919T0301.AW027 is a safety protection device used in the steam turbine system, mainly used to block the flow of high-pressure steam or gas. The AST solenoid valve group is installed on the right side of the front bearing box of the steam turbine, and is assembled into an integrated block with the OPC solenoid valve. After the AST solenoid valve is activated, all 12 steam turbine valves, including the high-pressure main steam valve, high-pressure regulating valve, reheat main steam valve, and reheat regulating valve, are closed to achieve emergency shutdown of the turbine.
Working Principle of solenoid valve 0508.919T0301.AW027:
This valve controls the opening and closing of the valve through the action of electromagnetic force. When the AST solenoid valve is energized, the current inside the solenoid coil generates a magnetic field, which attracts the valve core and opens the valve; When the current is disconnected, the electromagnetic force disappears, the valve core is subjected to the action of the spring, and the valve closes.
The tripping operation of AST solenoid valve 0508.919T0301.AW027 is usually achieved through linkage with the monitoring and control system. The monitoring system monitors key parameters such as pressure, flow rate, etc. When the parameters exceed the predetermined safety range, the control system will trigger a trip operation, close the AST solenoid valve, and thus interrupt the flow of high-pressure steam, protecting system safety.
